So I\'m almost 2 years old, time to start thinking about future careers. Since I was over my Uncle J-Sun and Auntie Liz\'s house I thought I\'d give Uncle J-Sun\'s boat a try. Who knows, maybe I\'ll become a ship\'s captain! What do you think.

Fun at Uncle J-Sun's Pool

I had so much fun at Uncle J-sun and Aunt Liz's house. Their pool is great. Mom and Dad swim underwater and come get me. It's a riot. You should all try it sometime!

Potty Training???

So Momma and Daddy have started trying this new thing called "Potty Training" which is really confusing to me. I don't understand why the potty needs to be trained, I mean, it just sits there. Is it supposed to do something else? Anyways, they bought me a special seat to put on top of the toilet if I want to use it but I think it looks much better on Daddy's head don't you? It's a really cool hat.



So Memere gave me a book about potties and I love to read it. But you've got to be kidding me! You want me to do what where? Come on people, that's just gross! Anyhow, the deal is that if I sit on the potty I can have chocolate so I figured out a good plan. I don't have to actually GO potty to get the chocolate, I just sit for a minute or so. So that's what I do when I want chocolate. I think it works great but Daddy always makes that scowling face of his when I pull this trick. I thought he was supposed to be smarter than that!

Tech Help




So I have heard that some people haven't been able to see my really cool videos. I asked my Dad why and he said some people probably need to download some FREE software to make it work. I asked him if that was safe because "downloading" sounds a little scary and he said it was--safe that is, not scary. He said that some of the videos use FLASH and some use QUICKTIME. If you click on the buttons below you can download each one. They work on PC and Mac and will help you see other things on the web too.

Let Freedom Ring

So I was in a parade for the 4th of July. I have no idea what that means there was no cake or presents. I did get to see all of my friends from my Music Together Class. We rang bells and walked around Farmington. There were lots of people watching us. I love people watching so I did very little bell ringing. I hope that you had cake...

Wow, what a day!

Today I got to do lots of fun stuff. I went down to the "big city" of Portland and went to the Children's Museum. It had lots of fun stuff like an fire engine, a water table with flowing water and boats, a cow you could milk and SO much more. We stayed there for awhile and then we got to do something REALLY fun... GO TO SEE MY AUNTIE HEATHER!!!

She works down in Portland and we got to go to her office! She must be someone really important because she knew almost everyone there and had to punch in some special numbers just to open the door to where she worked! I don't see what the numbers were but I bet they were 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10! Anyways, I had fun meeting all of the people she works with. I talked to them and what was really great was that Auntie Heather had a bag of chips in her desk that she shared with me! It was great.

Then we went out to lunch at a great place called Arby's! I have to recommend it to everyone out there, the fries are delicious and they have great ketchup too! I had so much fun there that I yelled out "Lily LOUD!" 6 or 7 times. I think it made Momma and Daddy very happy because their faces were all red, with pride!

More beach time fun!


Mom and Dad took me to see Webb Lake at Mt. Blue State Park this week. As we drove up I saw the "big mountains" and I told Mom and Dad that I wanted to climb them. They said maybe next year but I think I could do it now.

We had a great time at the beach. I spent the whole day making a special soup. It had dirt and water in it and some of my sand molds (crab, octopus, lobster, turles, starfish) and so Mom and Dad called in
my "Seafood Chowder". I'll try to get some new video up soon.
I'm working on some footage from the beach and another clip from my debut in the 4th of July Parade in Farmington.

Life's a Beach


So today was Father's Day AND it was supposed to be REALLY hot so Momma decided to take us all to the beach at Wilson Lake. It was really fun. We went early. The water was warming up and we had the beach to ourselves for over an hour. We saw boats and kayaks and loons and Dad helped me build a sand castle. Well, I should say that Daddy built a tower and then I knocked it down. He didn't get mad though. He even dunked me in the water (not all the way though, don't worry you child safety advocates!) Then we went back home and I played in my pool for awhile and had a nice nap. My Dad says I'm sweet though becuase the bugs were biting me
SO MUCH! Hope everyday this summer is this much fun.

Spring Cleaning

Well, I know it's been awhile since I posted anything on my blog. Springtime sometimes reminds us of things. Everything growing and turning green makes me reflect on my growth. I am now 16 months old. I can say over 150 words now and I can do almost anything. I even started counting (though I don't always remember 3 or 4, but 5, 6, and 7 are so much more fun to say). I was outside a lot today doing some yardwork with Momma and Daddy. I was a big help as you can see. Well, I thought I'd post some pictures and logoff. To much to do outside you know.
